Never should have bought a semi-detached in the surburbs of Asgard...I know this is a typo, but do you know how often I wish I could shut up my neighbor's god?

*simplyOne day I will internalize that some people just endlessly argue and nitpick and attack until you just shut up and walk away…and the best course is to simple put them on ignore and leave them there…but it is not this day.
On the other hand, if you've gone around and around on a point three times, its probably time to assume you're not going to convey it effectively to the audience at hand and just move on.
It feels rather self-serving of me to like your post. But what can I say? I'm pretty awesome.I was 500 words into a post about the people and the culture of Appalachia, with emphasis on treating people and their traditions with respect, only to have @MGibster say everything I was going to say, and say it better, in fewer words.
There’s also a huge difference between trying to explain something and mindlessly repeating yourself. If your goal is to communicate, you will explain what you mean in more than one way. If your goal is to bludgeon the other person, you will mindlessly repeat yourself.Way more than a few times, I've just accepted I'm unable to communicate something in a way intended that the other person is willing to receive and its just time to dust off the hands and walk away.
Happened to me the other night. Also didn’t want to give any form of positive reinforcement by using ignore.Way more than a few times, I've just accepted I'm unable to communicate something in a way intended that the other person is willing to receive and its just time to dust off the hands and walk away.
