Its true. My mother used canned shrooms when I was going up and I thought shrooms was nasty. Whole new world opened up to me as an adult. This wasn't a one off, it was criminal the food I had growing up!

I know! I mean, I went through a phase when I was eating a lot mushrooms, and I'd put them on slices of pizza in order to obscure the taste. Because they were all dried out and nasty, and I tell ya, that taste lingered in my mind for a long time. Took me a long time after college before I could eat mushrooms again.
