(OOC) Planescape: Intrigue

We're in the middle of what is for now a non-combat conflict zone with about two or three options for interactions.

I think it's just seemingly limited options combined with the urgency of the situation our characters are in.

Would it help if we used Discord for OOC? I find it tends to make OOC questions/answers easier.

Can Grim feel if the mind effect attempted on her is a charm/enchantment or just telepathy? If there's a chance it is harmful she will instinctively resist it, but isn't harmless telepathy actually non-blockable?

It seems to Grim as if it is telepathy. Not sure about telepathy being irresistible. I figured Grim - based on her history- would instinctively resist any type of mental connection instead of assuming it was harmless.

Could you be more specific? Are the limited amount of interactable scenarios an issue? What would be a preferable alternative? Trying to gauge what I need to specifically tweak.


As for discord, I am not opposed, but I prefer PbP

It's not an issue, it's just that our characters are in immediate danger so "find out what's going on and/or escape" is the seeming best option.

I’m back early so i will post soon. I want my character to check out what’s going on with the blue robes but maybe, for the purposes of the story and staying together, I could join one of the other PCs. I was waffling with going to see the plague doctor.

For discord, sometimes it’s easier to hash things out on discord since people seem more responsive. I assume we’d still be posting IC on the forum. I’m easy either way.

Yes, she is typically suspicious and defensive, but the situation is still very ambiguous to her. Being an arcane trickster, she might know telepathy is harmless, but still not like it. She literally met the rest of the party minutes ago, so she can't possibly decide whether a secret telepathic message directed to her alone would be beneficial to her or not. I'll slightly metagame here in favor of the rest of the party
