So there’s a problem with the game. And it’s not a problem for you because you fixed it with house rules and handing out heaps of magic items. The odds of it being ready when you get there for the appointment wouldn't be high anyway if the CVS in your neck or the woods are as understaffed as the ones here...

I went last Friday for COVID and flu shots, and the nice person at the counter wasn't even sure they had the COVID in yet. They did.

I got my flu shot yesterday. I asked about the new Covid booster, they said they would have it by the end of the month.

New COVID and flu shots obtained. Was thinking the new strains of COVID didn't sound bad, but then my wife got the variant that causes pink-eye back at the start of the month. I will happily take anything that gives a + on saves against that eye-bulging crustiness!

I read this as "the variant that causes pink-eye at the start of the month" and thought "oh, naughty word me, it can tell time!"
