I'm a skilled cook; I can make an amazing pizza from scratch. I have the pizza stone, I have the pizza peel, I have experience working in a pizzeria, I know what's up. I can go across town and buy all the finest ingredients--all the ingredients I want, none that I don't. I can make a chewy crust and a zesty sauce, I can heat up the whole house with a hot oven, and I can clean the dishes and kitchen afterward.

I can also click around on my phone for a few minutes. Then someone will bring me an acceptable pizza in a fraction of the time, along with a six-pack of beer and a salad, for about the same cost.

So I can understand why 5th Edition D&D pizza delivery is the most popular choice. Flavor is an important consideration, but so are prep time, level of effort, skill, consistency, and approachability.

Fine. But riddle me this …

I like hot dogs.

Excellent points. I'm still trying to figure out why people started looking for hot dogs at their local Domino's.

Hot dogs are my favorite, but my spouse refuses to make hot dogs for me. The only logical course of action is to show up at local restaurants and yell loudly until they agree to deliver hot dogs to my house. I've also left a lot of 1 star reviews on Yelp.

I've clearly been reading too many threads on Reddit, as I was expecting the end of that to be "... cheat on my wife."

It's a sad tale. They once loved hot dogs. They invented hot dog pizza to show their love. But they were met with ridicule and scorn by the world. And this planted the seeds of resentment that turned into hate.

So, I have to ask! These images you (and sometimes others) post, to me they each just appear as a long numeric text string ending with ".jpg". I can't select that text though. I can right-click the "text" and choose "Open Image in New Tab", etc. Does that happen for anybody else?

Maybe it's my browser? (Firefox)

Could be browser/security settings. I'm on Chrome, never have issue.

Same here, but I've noticed the problem as well. However, I have only noticed it for trappedslider's posts. Although I have noticed a similar problem with all twitter posts, but that gives me a warning saying it's a problem with Firefox blocking aggressive tracking cookies.
When I'm at work I have it happen a lot on TrappedSlider's posts but not exclusively. It does appear to be a security settings thing. If I try to open the image in a new tab I get a blocked notice for social media, IIRC.

Elrond would literally let the world burn if he could blame one of the "lesser" races as the cause of it.
I don't remember that from the books. Is that a Jackson/Walsh adaptation thing, or am I forgetting something from the actual source material?
