That's why I'm not too worried that we didn't get the full run of archons and guardinals in this book - the '14 MM was notorious for its minimal selection of Celestials, so it seems pretty likely they're saving some for the '24 MM.

I can see the 24MM having some Archons, Guardinals, more Angels, and some completely new Celestials, like how there will be a new 20 CR+ Hag and Ooze.

Actually, this new.Mknster book might be the single biggest percentage increase for a Creature Type in the entire Edition.

It's not 25 new Celestial stats (to be far I made up that number) , 3 Guardinals, 3 Archons, 3 Rilmani, Sunflies, Sunfly Swarm, Dabus, Planar Incarnates, Barbiurs, maybe 1 Modron, but that is probably an error. This book has 14 to 15 Celestials.

I don't think 90s nu-New Age is a creature type.
Yeah, the New Age crystals and mediation style is nearly extinct now. The only really prominent example of that lineage I can think of is the Jedi, who are still reaching out with their feelings and fighting with crystal powered magic laser swords. So it's not surprising that D&D is trying to recast how psionics expresses itself.

So instead of taking a page from Star Wars, with a hook that will stand the test of time (Jedi) they are going to try and humanize the Far Realm and soften that a bit?
