The one book I kept from 3.5 was Savage Species. We had a lot of fun with that.
I'm still salty about the title change from Tooth & Claw, which fit great together with the majority of the 3.0 splatbooks Sword & Fist, Tome & Blood, and Song & Silence (Masters of the Wild and Defenders of the Faith can go stand in the corner of shame).

And Song & Silence ought to have been called Lute & Loot.

“It is demonstrable," said he, "that things cannot be otherwise than as they are; for all being created for an end, all is necessarily for the best end. Observe, that the nose has been formed to bear spectacles—thus we have spectacles. Legs are visibly designed for stockings—and we have stockings. Stones were made to be hewn, and to construct castles—therefore my lord has a magnificent castle; for the greatest baron in the province ought to be the best lodged. Pigs were made to be eaten—therefore we eat pork all the year round. Consequently they who assert that all is well have said a foolish thing, they should have said all is for the best.”

There is a video of the TechTV kids going ape over the 4e Red box and attending the PAX live play. I made a point of recording it on TiVo back in the day. For the live of me I can't find it.

But whoooo.... now after watching some of those old videos about D&D and GenCon I'm not sure I ever want to.

So, I noticed my favorite brand of kombucha has a pumpkin spice version out (with an apple/turmeric juice base). They had the grace, however, not to call it that. It was pretty tasty!
