It's both funny and depressing how many people on this site pretend to be allies or polite but consistently "like" posts ranting about inclusive content and the exclusion of bigots from the hobby. Or post links to fundraisers for bigots and complain when people have a problem with that. Or always jump to defend dogwhistled bigotry and pretend like it isn't bigotry.

It's not hard to see through the façade.

I've been on this board a long time, long enough to remember a time when posting blatant transphobia got you a warning at worst, and you can guarantee I remember both who was making those posts and who was liking those posts.

People can change over that time (to say I did as well would be an incredible understatement!) but a lot the ones who stuck around since then sure haven't shown many signs of it.

Diving into the Monty Python RPG and early on I came across this wonderful tidbit. Players being jerks and violating the social contract should be read the following:

‘You are hereby found to be willfully, unlawfully, and with malice aforethought in violation of the Anti-Tit, -Tosser, -Bully, -Ass, and -Wanker Act, Section 4, clause 3b, and are sentenced to bugger off out of it until you can behave like a decent human being again.'

Yeah. It’s like that.

I was referencing multiple threads and people on this site. I won't name names, but there are people who will pretend to be accepting of LGBTQ+ people but always like or positively quote anti-inclusive posts.

I haven't interacted with you enough to form a solid opinion. And you're not the first person to post a problematic fundraiser this week. I was more alluding to the other one.
