Most days I take my tea with a splash of milk, no sugar.

Weirdly, that's also how I take my gin.

I've never had a good Molson. I do like LaBatt Blue.

We drank a lot of Labatt in the 80s and 90s. We used to cross the Peace Bridge to get Molson XXX and Labatt Ice because the ABV was way stronger than what was allowed in the states at the time. I haven't drank Labatt in years except for the occasional one or two if I ran out of whatever other beer I was drinking.

Anyone remember Labatt Copper? It wasn't around long; sure you can imagine why. I told some girl that they got the copper taste by grinding up pennies

It's funny how bottom-tier beers tend to be so regional.

Genesee for the win around here, you could get a case of pounders for $5 when we were kids.

There is an old brewery here in the Twin Cities called Grain Belt. The staple is called Premium. It's a completely non-offensive average lager. Anyways, a decade ago they decided to make a new version named after my neighborhood "Nord East". It's North East, but on account of all the Scandinavians sounding like the movie Fargo it comes out as "nord". Anyways, its rotten and tastes like ground pennies but its super popular everywhere but here. Like a hipster fad that wont end.

All those fad beers were junk but ironically everyone tried them at least once. Was it Keystone that was marketed as the "Bottled Beer Taste in a Can" or was that Meister Brau?

When I was 15 or 16 me and my ex-girlfriend used to drink Captain Morgan and Mountain Dew. as gross as it sounds it was actually quite good. But like most things my tastes change and even today I switch up my beer/liquor of choice every so often

When I was younger, I enjoyed a few Captain Morgan and Blackthorne Ciders.

That was Keystone, bragging about a kind of lining that I think everyone has now.
