I did say good. I saw the flaw in that one, in the first post.
A good rules debate might be good, but a bad rules debate can be sublime!
I wasn't ready for the plot twist where that one went on from 2015 until 2018. I kind of want to necro that one with a follow-up question on whether that scenario will be addressed in the 2024 rulebooks.

The only way I'd DM a 3.x game again is if we were playing e6. Heavy planning + rules lawyering = broken DM.

The pizza analogy always cracks me up because it reminds me of this pizza shop owner that would "throw down" with customers on Yelp. My favorites were:
A back and forth with another shop owner on why he needed sugar in his pizza sauce. Lots of swearing and references to grandmothers was involved.
Telling a customer if they wanted "slices" they could go somewhere else because "square cut" was superior.
