It's always interesting when someone clearly doesn't understand all of what they are saying, even--maybe especially--if they're saying pretty good thing.

Apropos of nothing: Rush's 2112, which I first heard as a pre-teen, has had a ridiculous impact on me creatively. So much so that I realize in retrospect that my first novel is, for all intents and purposes, a prose adaptation of the primary conflict in the album.

It's an album that will leave an impression on people. My response to some of the moments there should have pointed me toward music production as a career to consider, but it took me like another decade to get there. Oh comma well.

This reminds me that I need to do a @Snarf Zagyg -like post about prog rock gaming, my personal alternative to hard rock or metal/heavy metal gaming.

The closest that I can think of is "feigned indignation."
