Heh. No one would ever accuse me of being the quickest bunny in the forest, but, thick as I am, from time to time, I do realize that I am the problem in the thread. That the only reason that they are making the arguments they are making is because I am making the arguments that I am making. And, slowly, every so slowly, embarrassingly slowly, it dawns on me that if I just stop, the conversation will become a lot more productive.

I had that moment today.

I wish I had more of them.

Its interesting to watch someone, post by post, make you wonder why you don't have them on ignore.

I have been increasingly training myself to pull that ignore trigger earlier rather than endure them.

I believe this was only momentary, and is well on its way to being not a problem. Folks that are positive or dont care seem to be using 5E 2024. Those that are suspect and/or negative are leaning 5.5E. Pretty much tracks with everything that has happened before.

I think that there are more than two camps. I like many of the changes(ie positive), but still call it 5.5e, because the changes are very substantial. A lot of us don't fall into the two camps you lay out there. I'll also bet that there are a good number of folks out there who are negative and call it 5e 2024 or One D&D.
