Any statement that starts, "With all due respect ..."

... inevitably ends with, "your opinions are trash, and you are a bad person for having them."
I was in a PF2 game a couple years ago. One player would ask if they could, "make a suggestion". At first it seemed like he wanted folks to be aware of options and did so in a less demanding way. After a few sessions it was clear they were just trying to be a polite optimizer.

Depending on how they took their "suggestions" being rejected--or otherwise not acted on--that could be OK. No quarterbacking is better than any quarterbacking, but polite, laid-back quarterbacking is better than rude, insistent quarterbacking. At least, in my experience.

At first, I thought it was a refreshing way to simply talk about the game and characters without seeming like a control freak. After like the 15th time I realized it was trying to tell folks how to play while walking on eggshells.

I still am inclined to say it's not the worst case, especially with a game as complicated as PF2e, especially especially if most of the table were new to it and your quarterback wasn't. That's not to say it couldn't be or couldn't become annoying, of course.

Sooo, ‘with all due respect, you get no respect’.
