My eldest and I made tamales late Christmas Eve, using pre-made masa batter (the perks of being in Southern California). They turned out great, and two people making them made it a lot less hassle, which is good, since the kid wants to start having these every month or two.

Wasn't half bad.

Kiwi big breakfast is more or less the same as English big breakfast minus the baked beans and black pudding.
