I think Piels is even better

By nature over the last 35+ years, my house has always been the go-to for a party, no one is going to believe I don't have a fridge full of beer. I actually did say something on Christmas night, I had a fridge full, and the one neighbor asked if I had enough beer for the three of us and I kind of gave a non-answer, so she ended up Doordashing an 18 pack over, which she left half in the fridge. Rule number one at my house, you leave beer in my fridge its mine so don't expect it to be there when you come back because I'm drinking it post haste.

This is a more recent development and they used to bring their own beer and I've never been stingy with mine but now that it's happening on a regular basis it is getting annoying and more expensive. It's not a big deal just venting I suppose, but I have said something to them about it within the last month or so.
I have two fridges full of beer, with some scattering onto the floor, and I don't have people over all that often. I'm completely willing to share my good beer when I do, though.

I need to get invited to some of these parties you and RJK75 have. I think my plan is to befriend your friends. Then try and get invited over to events. Dinner at Prabe's and then the game at RJK75. Time it out like a stove top commercial.

The pic of the fridge was from a 3 hour D&D session, 5 18-packs for 4 ppl. The second is my recycling bin full of beer bottles from Fri-Sat weekend binge a few summers back. That Monday when they came and collected it I got two texts one from each of my neighbors on either side telling me it was so loud it woke them up.

Definitely time to start putting BYOB on all of your invitations.

I think there is a difference too if a person stops over and you share a couple. If they stop by regularly and expect a 12 pack waiting thats a free bar.
Usually comes with a very convenient excuse too, I forgot or didn't have time to go to the store, nowhere was open on a holiday or my favorite is I'm only staying for one or two which turns out to be more like 6-8.

Rude!!!

Sorry dude you just fed a stray. Hope you like cats!

I would be like “cool! We won’t be starting for a while! While you are picking up beer would you also get me a bag of chips? Cool! We will be ready by the time you get back…”

Presumptuous is a thing I don’t like…anyway looks like my kind of gaming!
