I'd never thought of 2:1 scale models of something like that before...
There actually are such things, although they don't always state a scale. They're often "nature" subjects IME. I had the AMT/ERTL Gigantics range when I was a kid, and they've been re-released several times since as you can see from the ad here. And yes, the scenery and fleeing victims came with them, including fold-up full-color cardboard backdrops.

Consider this my preemptive rant about the character creator in Dragon's Dogma II - I'm certain that the three things I'm not going to be able to get it to do are absolutely going to be the three things I really wanted to do with it.
(I'm still seriously annoyed that ST: TOR won't let me have an orange Twilek, so that I can make a fat orange Twilek and call them Oomh Paloompah...)

Also, I'm not ever actually going to get the game - I just want to play with the character generator...

It absolutely tickles me, that people will continue to deny the reality of how the world functions. You may not like it you may wish it was another way, you may think that it would be better if certain truth's were not absolutely undeniably true.

It doesn't matter though, because its still the way the world works and will always work. Die mad.

I completely agree with you except for that bolded part. Nothing about human society is set in stone or permanent for all time. Things could get better. The most maddening thing is we can change things, we just refuse to make the effort.

Some things can get better, sure.

There are things which I suppose have changed since we lived in caves, but there are also things which have been true for....oh most of recorded history, but I suppose that is a different thread. :D
