TSR Dungeon Hobby Shop Museum for Sale

"Kitchen has been approved for Conditional Use Permit to be utilized as Commercial Lodging"

Oh, yeah, I'm sold now.

Live above, museum below is so last year.

Live above, museum and lodging below? Hell yeah. That's more like it.

"Imagine if these walls could talk!"

Pretty sure they would be saying: Conduct a thorough inspection for foundation settling/cracking, drainage/water infiltration, mold, termites, fire safety, and also consult your psychologist before making an offer.

The price is still stupid, but whoever applied for that CUP isn't wrong that some folks would pay for an all-nighter D&D session at the site, where they could (legally) sleep in a spare bedroom as a paying guest and get served food in the morning. In some states, you could get away with doing this through AirBNB, probably, but if it's a regular service, applying for a CUP is the right way to do it.

In another world, this is a decent idea.

Yeah, there was never anything wrong with the concept.
Just the people involved, their method of doing it and their expectation of extreme wealth from what should be merely a living wage idea.
