I work hard to come up with great sentences; Kardashian hard even!well. i think that's a sentence that's never been spoken before.
My character would not accept these savage raiders going free. We need to at least take out their leader!Although the Lunz clan has been driven away from Brieville, the battle was not decisive. They have retreated to lick their wounds, and will eventually pose some type of threat in the future. The party could seek to hunt them down and end the threat for good, but they're still quite the force to be reckoned with. They could still be too much for the party to deal with now.
I've been looking at the various 4e class I got access to and specifically the ones I never used before... I didn't remember the 4e Monk was an Implement user! There's not a single [W] power in the Monk's class! Despite them still getting 1d8 with unarmed attacks, mind you.Remaking your character is fine. After all, since we're all adjusting to each other, it makes sense to allow people to rebuilt.
Yeah, monks play quite differently in 4e than in other versions, being a multi-target striker (at least until the Desert Wind monk came along and created a path for some single-target focus). Ki powered, attacking NADs, and with powers like being able to shift their speed + some number across the battlefield striking everyone along the way. And then... with an action point, use a different but similar power and shift back to your starting position and strike everyone along the way again. Wild and fun.I've been looking at the various 4e class I got access to and specifically the ones I never used before... I didn't remember the 4e Monk was an Implement user! Striker is really the best role for the Monk. Being a Skirmisher who can waylay enemies with a single punch is, IMO, the best match for the martial artist fantasy people want.Yeah, monks play quite differently in 4e than in other versions, being a multi-target striker (at least until the Desert Wind monk came along and created a path for some single-target focus).
