Rogue was confirmed in an earlier video to be getting the Soul Knife subclass update as well, so one of those Rogue Subclasses might be out andSoul Knife in or the subclasses numbers got increased. Or something else.

I really doubt there is 5 rogue subclasses when everyone else gets 4.

I don't recall the Soul Knife being mentioned, and it wasn't in any of the playtests but they certainly could of made changes.

Or perhaps your thinking of the fighter getting a Psi Warrior.

As far as questions, right now I’m curious to hear about D&D Beyond integration.

How will D&D Beyond work with the 2024 PhB? I’d love to hear how the 2014 and 2024 rules will sit side-by-side in D&D Beyond and specifically within the character builder? Is there a single character builder for both 2014 and 2024? Will there be two different character builders? How soon will the 2024 rules be in D&D Beyond and available in the character builder? Day of release? Later?

Not an official answer, but most likely I would expect 2014 PHB options to go into Legacy access, similar to Volo's Guide or Tome of Foes stuff.

I really doubt there is 5 rogue subclasses when everyone else gets 4.

Elsewhere I have predicted that Assassin will be dropped from the PHB and put into the DMG with other "evil" classes, such as the Oathbreaker.

(It also lets them steath-retract what is I think is the weakest of the rogue subclasses, at least in terms of fulfilling its thematic promise.)

In the same video they confirmed the Psi Warrior for Fighter, they said the Soul Knofe is in for Rogue. Probably Swashbuckler or Assasin isn't making it in.

Playtest second wind is strictly better than 2014 second wind. Martials in general got a boost so I don't expect a lot of people will want to stick with 2014.

I could see some spell casters wanting to keep their old spells though, as some of those are getting nerfed. They might not like Spiritual Weapon getting concentration for instance.

Though it would be pretty easy to run a 2024 wizard using 2014 spells.
