If it were me, or if I were to pitch a book, I'd go for Adventurers From Across the Multiverse. It'd be more or less a PH2, but I'd use different settings as chapters. Maybe a generic chapter for a bunch of subclasses that are missing. Eberron would then have the Artificer, Dragonmarks, Changeling, Warforged, Kalashtar and Shifters. Dark Sun for Psionics and Thri-kreen. Bloomburrow for Animalfolk.
I suspect this is more likely than a bunch of individual setting books, since it would let them update a lot more of the 5e material to 5e Revised all at once.

I suspect this is more likely than a bunch of individual setting books, since it would let them update a lot more of the 5e material to 5e Revised all at once.
But they don't really have to do that with any speed, since 2014 5E material (Subclasses, Species, etc) work with 2024 rules fine, as seen in the new update today about how Beyond will integrate the material.

I was touting a book like this for years.

It's getting a mention in the (third party) worlds of D&D book coming out in October. It seems unlikely that WotC would have handed over the art assets for it to be included if they were memory-holing it. (There's no chapter on Jakandor, for instance.)
We probably shouldn't assume too much from the contents of a themed third-party artbook. Mystara might be in there simply because there's a lot of artwork associated with the setting, thanks to product lines like the D&D Gazetteer series.

I do have to say, the exclusion of Mystara from the 5e Revised PHB is almost more surprising than the reference to Dark Sun, for the opposite reason - Mystara has been name-dropped throughout the 5e era, even in fairly recent products, which suggested sustained interest from the designers. (It's also a little weird for the 50th anniversary rulebooks to basically ignore the existence of Basic D&D's default setting - though it wouldn't be the first time Basic D&D has been sidelined in walks through the game's history.)

I really hope we get an Eberron book sooner rather than later. The races need some major updates, the subrace system to dragonmarks could really use an update and they have gotta address what they are doing with the half-race dragonmarks. That said, I don't want RotLW 2.0,, but a Xen'drik book could update that stuff while covering the second biggest part of Eberron after Khorvaire.

I feel pretty safe predicting that any fresh take on Dragonmarks will simply change them to an Origin Feat or Feats for Background purposes: 4E Eberron had no Race restrictions for Dragonmarks which eere Feats, so there is canon precedent for walking that back.

I'd love some Warforged and Kalashtar unique Backgrounds and Origon Feats.

A Xen'drik style approach would be ideal, since Riaing from the Last War is still overwhelmingly usable for 2024 rules, outside the first chapter. No need to replace the book, just update the mechanics side.
