That’s people being people. How many times have questions using that basic form been asked about RPGs instead?... why wouldn't you just say you want to drink gin, instead of pretending it's a martini?
Enough that I would suspect a police raid on a grow op.I was driving down a neighborhood road one night- maybe 5 minutes from my house- when I drove through a cloud of smoke blowing across the road. My windows were down; it was a nice late fall evening. I was expecting the smell of someone doing a kick ass BBQ.
It was a cloud of WEED smoke.

For some if they can't see a face, then the other person is just a random NPC. Strangely, I have also seen this conduct manifest in real life, where there are also real consequences.Not a fan of folks getting punched in the face, but I do think he made good point about how brave people get behind a keyboard when they aren't doing face to face interaction. And face to face just naturally leads to more empathetic interactions I think
