Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Karaoke night. I got a new keeper. Bar was not very busy so tried something I wanted, but didn’t think anyone would know. Folks told me they were all googling it.

Unfortunately that doesn't always work. I've got an on ramp, on my way home from work, that hits The Gardiner Expressway as a new lane, continues for a few hundred metres, then ends by exiting out to another surface street. With a lane closed each way for construction, at the moment, traffic is always backed up through there. Rush hour, in Toronto, is basically 4:00am to 11:00pm. If I don't get over to the main lanes as soon as possible, I'll likely be slogging it all the way along Lakeshore Blvd. instead, when I'm forced off The Gardiner.

I've seen quite a few freeway onramps in the Greater L.A. area that do this.

It's not common in Ontario, but there are many areas with extremely short on ramps.

I really wish that the Province had taken the time to put in light rail, in highway medians, when it was still possible, rather than simply expanding the highways to the ridiculous messes that they currently are.

Working on a new computer. I've got an ad blocker. I've got an virus blocker.

What I really need is a McAfee blocker. That thing is a friggin' virus, attached to half to installers you need.
There's usually a box that you can uncheck to avoid the McAfee installation, but they don't make it obvious.

I had already removed it completely, and it snuck back in when I missed the checkbox with Adobe. It's a parasite, I tell ya. Gettin' worse every year.
It's actually better than it was in 2000. Back then if you accepted the installation and trial period when the trial ended, it could not be uninstalled. I don't know whether that was a bug or "feature", but it was a royal pain in the keester.
