Since we're talking fonts, I'll mention Elan, which I selected when I was writing One Page Dungeon modules and wanted to find a font that was still legible at small size.

I was willing to serve on a jury but since it was a 3 to 4 hour drive (one way) to the court house, I used notes from doctors not to serve.

The courts are maybe 20 minutes from my front door, during rush hour. I get paid by my employer for jury duty. I've been called up three times. Showed up for 2 days the first time and the case was settled on day 2. The second time I received notification, the day before, that there was a delay in the trial and I would not need to report. The third time I'd been there for a couple of hours when we were told that the accused took a plea.

Being called up gives a three year waiver against being called to serve again.

I went down a rabbit hole the other day when looking at Shadowdark publishing. I wonder if there is a Mork Borg font actually...yep lol

I have to admit I still use Verdana a lot just because I find it more consistently readable.

To my knowledge, it was the first widely available font specifically created for screen readability. I find it a great one for that and still sneak it into web pages when I can.

That's probably why I use it; almost nothing I'm preparing any more is likely to be printed out, its all digital usage.
