Well again, I’m back to the dog whistles. If one uses every other word other than evil (their gods are evil, the plane they go to when then die is evil, their traits are evil, they want to kill other civilized races), I’m not going to give the author a pass because they dance around whether they explicitly say orcs are evil. They demonstrated it in their words.
And I am back (again) to the fact violent does not equate to evil, savage does not equate to evil; that sort of thinking is what created many of the horrors in our own past. When one culture viewed another as "savage" or "violent" and assumed (wrongly) it must be evil.

One does not necessitate the other. Let's break out of that cycle.

I agree the cycle should be broken too but by not depicting Orcs as savage, inherently violent, and following evil gods (without supposedly being evil themselves.)

Then we can agree to disagree?

I don't see anything wrong with their culture being violent and savage because I know that, while it leads to evil certainly in many cases, does not make it inherent nor warrant the slaughter of such a culture without remorse or provocation.

Wouldn't we?! I can tell ya right now, I do that, but you just need to avoid words like 'always'.

Just drop the 'all' and we are good here! Though, my Halflings are LG/NG....

Exactly. Humans and what we used to call demihumans back in the day were created by good gods and will have a tendency toward good but nothing is absolute.

Or hey, maybe they could add unique entries for human, elf, dwarf, gnome, dragonborn, orc, goliaths and aasimar into the MM that represents a variety of each species. 4-6 statblocks each.

Now, which ten monsters in the Monster Manual are you cutting to put in Dragonborn Knights of Bahamut and Elf High Magic Weaver?
I'd have to have the new MM, which I don't, but if I did I wouldn't have any issue cutting out 10 monsters to make room. Or I could just add the few pages it would take to add the stat blocks in. Either way.

Yes but that language in the actual games needs to shift. More has been written about humans not always being good or evil than has ever been written about orcs or drow until very recently.

You don't see orc football players, you see orc raiders.
Or they could be both!
