As it happens, I was actually the first beneficiary of the new feature, 2 weeks after installation. Somehow, my right foot found a spot in the tub not covered by a rubber grip mat and hydroplaned. I caught the rail, saving me what would have been a bad spill.

Shoot- I got a bigger rubber mat, and I almost always keep one hand on the rail while moving in the shower.

My folks are both 79. Dad’s still pretty spry, but Mom is definitely mobility impaired. She has an arsenal of Hurrycanes, a rollator, and a wheelchair. The rollator is mostly used around the house, with the wheelchair getting the lion’s share of work outside of the house. The canes are for short distances & tight spaces.

At 57 I can't really complain about the feast of gaming I have lived through, it's been great. D&D is the main dish and that is great, though I just wish that it wouldn't get into every thread.

Every once in a while, so long as you make sure to not let your hill spread to other hills, digging in a nice juicy hill, building a pillbox on top and setting up to live there for the long haul can be a lot of fun.

And every so often, you get to learn stuff from it.
