Mad Jack, which edition of Car Wars was that? I originally had the plastic mini black box plus some later supplements, but those were all scaled for use on regular graph paper with cars being IIRC 1" x .5" cardboard chits. Motorcycles were .5" x .25" I believe. So the scale was pretty small, for easy play on regular tabletops.

I was introduced to it back in college in 1990 - one of my buddies had a metric-<expletive>-ton of the stuff...
I sort of inherited his collection for a few years, and eventually picked up some stuff of my own.
It was mostly 1st and 2nd Edition stuff - a lot of the box sets like Tanks, Boats and Aeroduel and pretty much all of the stuff that came in big plastic bags like the Truckstop. He also had a lot of Autoduel Quarterly magazines.
Unfortunately, he took it all back several years later and I eventually had to sell the stuff I'd acquired, so now I don't have anything left.
I don't have anyone to play with and no space to store the stuff, so I haven't bothered to reacquire any of it.

Somedays I wish duels were still legal. It would solve so many problems in one go.

Mostly to resolve the discourteous problem above, but also to thin out the hyper-argumentative and thin-skinned people who seem to occupy so much time in modern life.
