Since the pandemic, a lot of people have switched over to virtual tabletop. Curious to know how popular electronic play is comparing to in-person a few years later. Tell us your story if it's not covered in the options!

Note: For purposes of the poll, VTT = "online," so that Discord and even Zoom would be included.

We went totally VTT during the pandemic but now we're back to really just in-person. I put "some VTT" because I am technically in two VTT campaigns, just neither of them have actually run in the last few months (I think because most of the people involved are playing in person!).

If we're just putting in music videos...

50/50 these days. Whatever works best with our schedules. I didnt expect to like VTT as much as I do, but its extremely convenient.

For my group, TTRPGs are a good reason to make time and meet friends, so at the moment only in person for me.
I do wonder, though, if I'd like a VTT game. Maybe i will try it soon.

My group is now distributed among 3 different US states with up to 1300 miles between us, so it's all VTT for practical purposes. We get to play face to face maybe once every few years, and even then, everything for the campaign in the VTT, so we're still using it even in that case.

I've even taken to using a simple VTT with good mobile support for my solo gaming, so I can play on the go if the urge strikes me.

I run one in-person game, one online using Zoom and a camera pointed at a table with minis (so the table top is not virtual, but the means of sharing it is digital) with occasional Owlbear Rodeo for exploration mode, and play in one game that is just Owlbear Rodeo.
