That one I grokked. We saw this way back in the Netflix era- on the surface, Vanessa is classy and non-violent, but Wilson brings out her dark side, and once it's revealed, she revels in it. Which got her in big trouble back in the Netflix show, and now, with her being revealed as the one who hired Bullseye to kill Foggy, is going to do again.
She loves Wilson the monster. Wilson the man doesn't interest her at all.
Also- the white suit is back, and it fits very well!

New question: at the beginning of this show, I got the impression that Matt and Karen were flirting and only just beginning to think about getting romantic, but I see that they have started dating in S2 of the OG series. Are they on-again off-again, or do they stay together and I just misinterpreted the scene at the opening of Born Again?
