I can't use the generic arrows most stores have in their sporting good sections because my width increases my draw length on my bow to the point where if I pull the string all the way back they stop short a full hand's length from reaching the wood.

I’ve never been able to draw a bow fully, but that’s more because the only ones I’ve shot with were small & cheap student bows made with some kind of cheap plastic.

I was about 5'10" and 210 lbs. senior year of high school. I was...chunky, but not actually fat (that didn't hit till my 40's). I had to keep a spare dress shirt in my locker because if I didn't keep my sleeves rolled up above my elbows, they'd get hooked on my elbows and I'd literally rip my shirt in half, or at least rip one of the sleeves half off. Now, after decades of warehouse work, I'm 5'11.5" tall and 305 lbs., and even if I dropped to an athletic level of body fat I doubt I'd get any lower than about 230 lbs., maybe even 250 lbs.

You might need to find different shirt makers.

Custom & semi-custom clothes are much more affordable and available these days.

Also, there’s a lot of sellers specializing in clothes for bigger dudes, like DXL and KingSize.

Those cheap school fibreglass bows just suck. My high school also didn't understand that just buying all right-handed bows doesn't automatically make all of the students right-handed. "Just shoot right. You'll get used to it." "Sure, anyone to my left will be going to the hospital."

Some days it seems like everything is down there, a couple of inches too low to be comfortable...

Has he ever played any others? That's all I've seen him play since Shameless, and he was very young when that started.
