Canned cranberry sauce is probably the saddest thing on the table. I'll eat it, but...meh. The homemade stuff is soooo much better.My favorite holiday really. Just a great meal with family and friends.
I like stuffing and make many kinds like traditional, East coast with clams, White castle burger....
Oh, and cranberry sauce with actual cranberries and not the jello from a can stuff. (though im not put off if folks demand the can stuff as long as I got my real stuff.)

CleverCranberry Sauce
Makes about 3-1/2 cups
Ingredients:
Instructions:
- 12 oz. cranberries, fresh or frozen
- 12 oz. of your favorite orange marmalade
- 4 oz. of your favorite wine (or fruit juice, if you don't do wine)
- A cinnamon stick
- Honey, maple syrup, or sugar
- Put the first four ingredients into a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until the berries all burst.
- Remove the cinnamon stick.
- Sweeten to taste.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
You can celebrate things outside your own birthday.I'm sure this is going to be an unpopular opinion but it's starting to feel like we can't really celebrate anything outside of our own birthday due to any historical context/after effects. Every holiday seems to have something bad attached to it, at least that's how it feels to me.
