Wait a second, are you an epidemiologist? I thought you all left the internet after 2021!I am neither in IT nor an IP lawyer, but I have a PhD so (judging from some others) I might as well be qualified for both.

Add Tesla to the mix. They lose their crap over that instant torque.Lexus drivers too IME. They're the cars I see weaving in and out of traffic cutting people off the most.
Have a PhD and say that qualifies you in a field that you don't have a degree in? Must be a university professorI am neither in IT nor an IP lawyer, but I have a PhD so (judging from some others) I might as well be qualified for both.
On the other hand, I don't have the money for a BMW...
You are not alone! I am also not in IT or a lawyer. I'm a graphic designer.I am the lone ENWorld poster who's neither in IT nor an IP lawyer.
20+ years around motorcycle racers as a photographer, 8 racing schools, and many track days taught me one thing: I'm not very good. One has a different relationship with the road, after building machines, and racing. Most drivers seem laughably bad. I also had to get certified by the CHP. Yeah huh, nightmares. You can't really expect too much.
Had a friend worked for Scuderia Ferrari of San Francisco, he'd drop by with cars on a test drive and we'd go have lunch. Beautiful machines, every part luxurious, like the finest tailored Italian suit. Their utility was about the same, a lot different than a jeans, and t-shirt chevy truck.
I remember an episode of Top Gear where James May (a.k.a. “Captain Slow”) took racing lessons from long-retired professional racer Jackie Stewart. The lessons actually did improve his lap time.20+ years around motorcycle racers as a photographer, 8 racing schools, and many track days taught me one thing: I'm not very good.
At my first racing school I thought I was going flat out behind the head instructor, who was a retired Canadian pro racer. Not a top guy, but rather an also-ran. No way I can go any faster.
... Then the instructor put is left hand on the tail section and twisted his body around to watch me going through the corner behind him. Ego, crushed.
