i don't mean offence but i can't say i've got the impression from your posts that you like a non-magic anythingI don't particularly like a non-magic thief.
With the feat. It's more that I don't know, mechanically how people use two cross bows. Do you drop them? You have several loaded and ready to go??? IDK. I've never used the feat.
Rule number one is to play whatever is most fun for you.Once he's 5th, he'll be braver in combat. But I'm leaning hard towards this
But how do you reload them if both your hands are holding hand crossbows? With the feat.
You attack once with a handcrossbow, then bonus action attack with a second one.
You can't effectively use 2 without the feat.
Hmmm. I never thought of the forced movement.Rule number one is to play whatever is most fun for you.
Though Skulker benefits from ranged attacks, and implies you are hidden for advantage. So I would go heavy crossbow (push) as your main weapon. Which is good for kiting and getting enemies away from wizards and into zones like Web.
And 2 scimitar (Nick) as backup.
But how do you reload them if both your hands are holding hand crossbows?
It takes special training to master the technique. But how do you reload them if both your hands are holding hand crossbows
looks like the rogue needs default boost in sneak attack damage at levels 5,11,17 instead on relying on these kind of shenanigans.I don't particularly like a non-magic thief.
If I were going to do it I would go high Intelligence and get Truestrike on a Species or Origin Feat. Without that Thief is going to be heavily reliant on magic items like Wands and in late play Scrolls in combat.
Don’t they get sneak attack at every odd level? Or did that change??looks like the rogue needs default boost in sneak attack damage at levels 5,11,17 instead on relying on these kind of shenanigans.
add extra +1d6 sneak damage at levels 5,11 and 17.
yes. I am talking about giving rogues extra d6 at those levels on top what that they have now.Don’t they get sneak attack at every odd level? Or did that change??
