In other news, I found - in a different thread I frequent - I seem to be missing a post, according to the post numbers in the top right corner. As I understand it, that means someone has not only blocked me, but put me on their "two-way block" list, where they not only don't see my posts but I don't get to see theirs.

I wonder who I ticked off that bad? And I find myself feeling remorse...that they're missing all of my brilliant postings.

Two way ignore is a blight and needs to go away.

Two-way ignore is a horrible feature! It means that, not only is everybody missing my posts about my new religion ("Buy Your Way to Salvation the AlHazred Way!") but I can't find out who they are in order to cyberstalk them and convert them in-person! It's a tragedy that borders on blasphemy! How else will I get my money? Er... I mean, save souls?

I don’t know that two way ignore is necessarily bad but I don’t think it should be the default option.

I understand why some people don’t want other people to see what they post. I think the problem is with the implementation, not the concept.
