I don't recommend multiclassing Bards because they are essentially a multiclass character. They already can do everything in a mediocre way and to multiclass into anything else will just lower the bardic music abilities and cripple spell levels even more. Same goes for Sorcerer, I'd never...
It's not the save I'm asking about, it's the effective caster level.
e.g. I advance a Hezrou from 11 HD to 20 HD, does its effective caster level go from 13th to 22nd?

When advancing monsters by adding Hit Dice, what happens to the effective caster level of their spells and spell-like abilities? Do they increase their caster level by the same amount as the increase in Hit Dice or do they stay the same?

You just remember a fraction. It is the story where the players look up at the ceiling and do not specifically ask about the webbing the DM described and the DM therefore denies a Spot check. ;)

A Bard is a spellcaster, spellcasters do not multiclass very well. Just concentrate on being good at archery, you won't have enough HPs for melee combat. Your support spells, songs and ranged attacks will make you very well liked in your party unless you're pressed into a role like...
IMHO the soul would be resurrected inside the reincarnated (new) body since that body is the body of the character at the time of his death and it was given as something beneficial, not harmful like a baneful polymorph.
This is not based on rules anywhere, just MHO.

It is not a short term advantage, it rewards clever thinking. It cannot be that the only things players have to do is to refer to their character sheets and roll some number. Same goes for searching a room, even someone without +20 in Search may find something when looking in the right place...
My advice would be to just let him have fun. I have no idea about the wilder's energy ray but usually the pure energy spells cannot keep up with monster HPs later on. At around CR10 monsters tend to have way over 100 HPs thus reducing damage spell effectivity.
Here's my take on what to really...
Well, by the rules you cannot Hide without concealment or cover. OTOH I wouldn't even grant someone a Spot check when they entered a room with something hanging from the ceiling. When they specifically told me to take a look at the ceiling before entering I would tell them that something is up...
The answers are 1 and 1.
A single action only results in one AoO. You could do several actions that cause AoOs and be attacked for each of it but running around an enemy in circles is just one action and will not result in more than one attack.

I prefer asking around here instead of WotC since this board usually has more than one opinion and discusses problems instead of answering on a whim.
