Fort Knocks - knight otu judging

ooc: Not exactly what I think it was planned. Everything is ok, except that Rurik and Rainka were meant to stay with the main group. when/if the skeleotns attack that group, E and Artax ambush them from their hideouts.

Anyway, Nodis starts manifesting Astral Costruct, spending focus to use the Talented and Overchannel feats.

OOC: Yes, as Someone said ( ), E & A hide until the skeleton troop has passed them by, then flank one of the skeletons in the back rank (if that's possible). R & R were going to stay with the main body of the party.

OOC: Speaking for Rurik, yes, having rode point, he's directly in front of the group.

"Dinna' loose yer arrows! Likely ta go righ' thru 'em!"

Rurik braces himself for the onslaught.

I'm gonna work under the assumption that everyone in the group was readying actions for when the skeletons saw them, then A&E were readying for when they got in range, so pretty much everypne goes before the undead. The advantage to planning.

Andrew and Skeeter are going to hang back from the group to defend Susan, and the rst of the Hoar Suns are holding the horses and waiting to provide backup.

where do you move to when the skeletons spot you, and do you want to take any actions once you get there. (someone, manifesting the construct is a full round action, iirc, so you can't move and do it. Thats why I assumed Nodis would hang back rather than be part of the "bait."

As far as Rurik's (and I think, also Rainca's) position is concerned, they need to be 5' in front of the main group, like Someone pointed out. That way, the skeletons have a chance to pass A & E's positions flanking the road before they engage.

So, if the positions are going to remain where they are, then Rurik will use his action to retreat to the spot as described by A & E (I-6). I'd suggest Rainca do that too, for her original position, but barbarian rage and/or Sparky's will may contravene that action.

And if he is in fact starting his turn from I-6, Rurik will simply wait for the skeletons to advance on his position (hold readied action, skip turn until skeletons close on him).

OOC: I'm still confused. I thought that R & R were going to be just in front of the others, while E & A were far enough ahead - and hiding off the sides of the road - that they could let the skeletons pass before attacking from behind, thus sandwiching the bonies between themselves and the rest of the party. Is that the way we are going to play it?

ok, what I tried to do was skip ahead a step to where R&R would have gotten to when the skeleton's spotten them and they started luring them back between A&E, who were at that point ahead of the larger group but behind R&R. I didn't figure on the whole of the hoarsuns including blind women and paniced horses being part of the luring party. I left nodis where he would want to be to summon a construct into the trap because he can't move and summon at the same time. If this doesn't match the plan, then everyone can tell me where they would want to be at the point the skeleton's start chasing you, and I'll redo it. (its easy once I have all the base map done.)
