Might be a not-so-merry christmas

BOZ

Creature Cataloguer
last night, Mrs. Boz had to go to the hosptial. these stays usually last anywhere from 4-10 days. :(

what's worse is, i have the kids here without her, and she will probably not get to see them at all if she's still in the hosptial.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that things turn out for the best and that you and the family are able to find some joy during the holidays.

My best wishes to Mrs. Boz...

on the more cheery side, here is a recent picture. :D

Maybe you can spread Christmas out a bit more than usual, keep it going for a week longer. Or have two Christmases this year.

Actually, my household used to have a second minor "Christmas" on January 7th. Some sort of Ukrainian tradition I think, although we weren't Ukrainian ourselves.

Oh wait, I found this on the internet: "Christmas Day is celebrated either on December 25 in accordance with the Roman Catholic tradition (Gregorian Calendar), or on January 7 which is traditionally the Orthodox or Eastern Rite (Julian Calendar) church holy day."

Best wishes for her recovery. I remember my dad being the hospital one Christmas and opening presents in his room. It's all good with family you love!
