Maybe you can spread Christmas out a bit more than usual, keep it going for a week longer. Or have two Christmases this year.
Actually, my household used to have a second minor "Christmas" on January 7th. Some sort of Ukrainian tradition I think, although we weren't Ukrainian ourselves.
