Why are monkeys being given treasure?

Will he survive the conversion to 4th edition?
Yes, but now with per encounter abilities!
(Possibly banana-related ones.)

edit - But what's with all this "sea monkey," "winged monkey" talk? I thought 4e was finally getting rid of all of those redundant monkey subraces by calling wood monkeys "monkeys" and high monkeys "apes"?

There's no reason that a thread about monkeys should go this long without an actual monkey picture. Shame on you all!

Quickest way to remove an endagered animal from that list is to make them apart of the american diet.
"Atkins? South Beach? Whatever. I'm on the Monkey Diet!"

Do not let them fool you; I still wear blinders when I assign treasure. I'm the one who gives you 313 copper pieces and a tanglefoot bag. Every time.
