TURTLEDOME!: Battle Bone (DM: KenHood, Judge: Lord S.)

[sblock=Actions]Since Emral is stunned, it looks like I'm #2 in the order, so I'll give my actions since I'm not gonna be at my PC tonight.

Standard = Brash Strike and mark Eustace (although, since I failed the save, I don't know if it will matter. ;))
Save vs. Blinded

1d20+4->6: Attack fails
1d20->7: Save fails

What bad luck...anyone have time for a heal check so I can get another save attempt? :o[/sblock]

After deftly avoiding being Kung-Fu'ed for the second straight battle, Vaunea missed the little halfling getting up high enough to poke her straight in the eyes. In a blind fit of rage, Vaunea swings her axe wildly, coming closer to hitting the ground than hitting the halfling. She blinks her eyes wildly in an attempt to regain sight; however, she still seems to have an issue seeing her surroundings.

[sblock=mohalloran]Yep. It's a new encounter.[/sblock]

Round 2 continued...
Hadarai circles his opponent and stabs the elderly, crippled Halfling.

STABS HIM.

Did I mention that he was elderly?

And crippled?

Cousin Eustace manages to block the blow with his forehead.

Well, not so much 'block' as just getting hit there.

Blood from the vicious scalp wound pours into the one-armed Halfling's eyes. (12 damage, Finnian gains a +5 bonus to attack rolls until the end of Hadarai's next turn)

I hope you're proud of yourself, Hadarai.

Drivan withdraws and hurls a magic missile at Cousin Eustace, zapping the poor, elderly, formerly-hard-working-but-now-retired-with-grandchildren, crippled, linguistically impaired being that is roughly the same size as a small child. Why, it's almost like blasting a kid suffering from cancer when you think about it. (9 damage)

Emral manages to shake off the groin shot, suck it up, and take it like a man. Ironic, considering if he had not been a man, it wouldn't have happened.

"No! Please! He's just an old man! He doesn't know what he doing!" cries Marco, once again huddled under a bush, "Don't stab him! Stop shooting him!"

[sblock=KO]Yes, Vaunea is looking to only KO as well. Doesn't want to upset Marco. Could care less about Eustace, really, but she likes Marco.[/sblock]

OOC: Sure...

I often say the same thing when I attack people with an axe in real life.

"No, officer. It can't be murder. I was just trying to knock them unconscious."

:)

[sblock='OOC']You'd be surprised how often that works. ;)

But officer, I was just trying to hit them with the flat of the blade, I swear! It's only a flesh wound![/sblock]

Finnian draws strength and determination from Hadarai's blow to the vicious and cruel halfling. His amber eyes focus clearly on the target and arrows fly from his quiver to the bow and off to their target.

Erlai continues to screech and pester Eustace, providing an opening for Vaunea to attack from the opposite side.

[sblock=Combat Actions]Move Action: None
Minor Action: Hunter's Quarry w/ Lethal Hunter (1d8=3)
Standard Action: Twin Strike (1d20+9=27, 1d8=2, 1d20+9=17, 1d8=5)

Round 2...
Three out of four arrows prefer hitting Cousin Eustace to sailing across the yard and puncturing the neighbor's bird house. (12 damage)

Vaunea vents her fury on Cousin Eustace's lawn.

With grim resolve, Cousin Eustace maintains his focus on Emral. He attempts to poke the wizard in the eyes, but Erlai harries him, deflecting his assault.

Attack provokes opportunity attack from Vaunea.

ooc:btw all allies who spend an AP gain a +2 bonus to hit (tactical presence class feature), so Finnian might hit one more time, I don't know.. Sorry I forgot to remind you earlier.

So how are you feeling now, halfling? says Hadarai almost in the ear of Eustace. Then he swings in a way that the halfling has to dodge right into the hawk's claws, and gets scratched badly.

[sblock='Opportunity Attack']It's just not my time right now.

1d20+2->3

Go fumbles.[/sblock]

Once again, Vaunea takes a blind hack at the halfling. However, she still is doing nothing better than cutting Eustace's grass.
