Is there a way to be able to mark a weapon as magic or magical. I noticed when i typed in magic bludgeoning that there was not enough space.

You could use a superscript M i.e. Quarterstaff of Wounding ᴹ, or if you prefer try color coding, similar to CSII equipment when you select the magic rarity.

You're correct with the profbonus. I had the XP entered in for 10th level and only 3 levels of classes hence the error, must have been a long day. The character profbonus is functioning as intended. The point is the tool adds the characters profbonus and the animal companions profbonus if a save or skill is overridden to be proficient for ranger beast masters.

That is what I thought, but just wanted to make sure. Thanks as always.

Wonderful Sheet

Good morning, this sheet is fantastic.

We are "rules light" players, so my question may simply be a lack of RAW knowledge than anything else.

As I was filling out the sheet (Beta 5), I noticed my female gnome wizard/rogue with 11 STR is listed as having 165 lb max carry, and 330 push, drag, lift. She's 3' 4" and only weighs 40 lbs!

We don't care about encumbrance; so in the end, its not an issue, but it struck me as odd and a bit off. Is it?
I thought there was some form of size, weight, strength adjustment?

All aside, great sheet!

The encumbrance rules in the PH are on p.176 as I read them small and medium sizes races / creatures have the same carrying capacity and push, drag, lift ranges. If there are other sources or updates to these rules let me know! I agree gnomes look deceptively good at carrying heavy stuff.

"Size and Strength. Larger creatures can bear more weight, whereas Tiny creatures can carry less. For each size category above Medium, double the creature's carrying capacity and the amount it can push, drag, or lift. For a Tiny creature, halve these weights."

The rules in 5th edition are intentionally simple and do not always follow "common sense". The weight issue is just one of those that are glaringly obvious. Unlike in 3.5, where there are "small" versions of equipment that weigh 1/4 (I believe...) the standard weight, 5th edition just ignores this detail. So, in 5th edition, a character with a 14 Strength can carry the same amount whether they are a little halfling or a huge half-orc! Many of the standard equipment packs, for instance, weigh more than a average gnome or halfings entire body weight!

Finally decided to try out the 2.00 Beta. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get very far with it.

I entered Ability Scores. Then entered a number of XP (140,000). Then Excel crashes.

The next time I open it I get that far, then select my class (Bard). Then I enter HP. Then Excel crashes.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat. It's crashed a few times now and I'm not quite sure what's up. No such issues with 1.64.

Recommend to try checking for Excel updates, for Office 365 go to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now

Hey Forged, great work as always. On your entry for the Firbolg, you have the modifiers as Str+2 and Wis+1. If we are going by the Volo's Guide to Monsters entry, then they need to be flipped, where it is Str+1 and Wis+2. One other thing, is it possible on the classes drop down to put them in Alphabetical order?
