I am using 2.22. I'm trying it again today on a different file and I'm getting sporadic results.
See the error below.

Except this time, the error is happening on G92, AL91, and BQ91. This is odd indeed. Something on my side? Any ideas?

Skills is limited to values of 0, 1, or 2. Tools and Languages are both limited to 0 or 1. These limits do seem a bit extreme, but ForgedAnvil is the one to clarify why the limits are what they are.

I appreciate the clarification, but it would seem there are still some bugs involving these fields. In respective order of Skills/Tools/Languages, I can enter 2/2/0 but not 2/2/1. 0/2/0, 0/0/2, and 1/0/2 are also valid entries. There seems to be some kind of interdependence between the numbers though it's not quite clear why or what it is.

I agree that this is something for ForgedAnvil to investigate. The good thing is that the "Start" tab allows you to select more Skills/Tools/Languages that what you should be allowed to do to compensate for this.

The level 15 Eldritch Invocation "Witch Sight" for the Warlock is not being populated on the "Vision & Senses" box of CS1, when it is selected on the Start tab.

Custom Class option

I assume it's been asked before, but I would love to have a custom class option in the Custom tab.

Because I have a lot of custom classes in my games.

You can only make custom subclasses. Adding a custom class section on the custom tab would take a long time to do. Remember that Forged does this on his free time. There are still bugs that are being addressed and they take time to sort out.

You can always print out a blank version of the CS and hand write everything in.

For the Warlock Eldritch Invocation "Book of Ancient Secrets", do I have to manually enter the ritual spells on the Spellcasting tab?

Yes, I believe that to be the case. I seem to recall FA addressing this at some time, saying to rename a high level (Level 9?) and enter BoAS rituals there.

The following is not directed at any one person:
This tool handles a lot, but what it doesn't handle directly can often be dealt with using overrides (most of which are on the Start page). One thing that it will not handle, as mentioned in the FAQ, is custom classes (as opposed to custom sub-classes). Now, FA has indicated that it may handle them in the future, but not for now. I believe that "in the future" is a reference to a hypothetical version 3 of this tool. As he is still cleaning up version 2, version 3 is not yet even in the design stage!
 

One of the things I like to do (like many) is to plan my character till 20th level. I do this by setting the exp to 355000 and having a ball. Then I set the exp back to 0 and play at first level. The sheet however adds all the stats from levels I don't have. For example, I am 1st level, and at level 4, I was going to pick up 2 stat points. It should not give me those points until level 4 (but it gives them to me now).

Another thing that would really help is to ungray options I should have. I routinely have to select valid options (like sorcerer subclass). They should be dark and pull my eye towards them.


I do this too. If you input your data as a formula such as =if(characterlevel>=X,"The Thing I want","Select...") then it will work as you'd like. Replace X with the level you gain the choice at.

Great tool, just looking at the latest version (v2.22).
Found a problem with Spell descriptions on Tab III

The Monk / Cleric combination causes SPELL Descriptions to change to #N/A when a Monastic Tradition is chosen, if it is 'Select...' then the spell descriptions work normally. When selected, the Description changes to #N/A.

This is not for all spells, but at least for the spells: Healing Word and Cure Wounds.
The Bless spell, for example seems to work as expected.
