At the top of the stairs in the Grand Entryway, more mercenaries and cultists began to prepare to defend their temple from the determined River Gang.

Pyrus moves away from the frozen zombie, sending another fire beam at it. (Move to E36. DC 14 dex save, [roll0])

Auraia's blade absorbs power from the merc she killed, and she uses this to power her blades. She then runs back, between her brother and zombie, waiting for it to get close enough to attack.

OOC: bonus Action to spend 2 psi points to make blades +1 weapons. 2points were absorbed when she killed the merc, so this is a net 0 move. Then she moves to E33 and readies her action to attack any enemy that gets into melee range.

Udit saw Draco pull a nice fancy rapier and attack the ice zombies or whatever the heck they were... and then vanished in a puff of smoke.

"must be nice" Udit told himself, looking at his broken rapier and butcher's knife, only to them feel the unnatural cold from the zombies. It burned!

Udit snarled "Studid dead things!"

Well, it was time to rescue himself. He had no place on the frontline alone. He put his boot on the ice zombie and propelled himself backwards, out of the reach of his claws.

OOC: Use cunning action to disengage and move to E31

Getting up from his backwards roll into a crouch, both blades ready, Udit turned to Kurzon and gave him a fierce smile "I have good boots!"

OOC2: Ready action to attack undead that comes into range. I will roll in advance in case this actually occurs.

Kurzon took in the desperate situation and calling upon Tyr he healed himself of a of the damage he had taken. He was eager to get back into the fight.

Pyrus & Auraia

Pyrus burnt the undead coming at him and retreated. It continued coming and lunged toward Drako. Auraia leaped into the way and slashed at the creature with her newly empowered psychic knives. The wounds did not deter the creature, however, and it clawed at her in turn.

GM: Just so you know, eares, Drako is now adjacent to Chillborn1, even though Auraia got in the way.

Udit & Torbin

Desperate to save his boots, Udit kicked off of the undead creature and dove beside Kurzon. Torbin took the opportunity to shoot the creature twice, and it fell back to the ground and burst into a shower of ice-crystals that scattered across the floor.

Udit found himself close enough to the undead who was fighting Auraia and Drako, and he spun on it, slashing it across the middle. The creature exploded in shards of sharp ice, raining out on all three of them.

Sesto sends his mace chasing after the old tough guard and wallops him again. Sesto grins; It is easy to hit somthing that glows like that!
Next, Sesto calls forth Lathander's flame that descends on the veteran. As the flame erupts around the veteran, Sesto can see a couple of crossbows aimed at him so he quickly dashes out of the site, yelling to the rest: There's a couple of mercenaries on top of the stairs! And a cultist too!

OOC: Bonus action: Move mace to N30,or so. Spiritual weapon against veteran (with adv), and damage.: 2D20.HIGH(1) = [3, 16] = 16, 1D8+4 = [4]+4 = 8. hmm, looks like I forgot to add the +7 to the attack... that should be a hit! Advantage from Guiding Bolt previous round.
Action: Spell Sacred Flame damage (DC15 Dex Save for no damage, radiant): 2D8 = [6, 5] = 11

Kurzon & Sesto

The undead creature holding up the portcullis, lunged forward, dropping the iron gate with a loud bang. It very nearly caught itself under the spikes and it stumbled across the room until it reached Kurzon, who shoved it back with his shield while he healed his face with soothing magic from his hand.

Sesto sent his spirit-mace flying up the stairs, and it clobbered the glowing mercenary, who stumbled as Sesto followed the mace with a searing bolt of light, which finished the man off.

Two more mercenaries, standing on the mosaic symbol of Bhaal, fired their crossbows down the stairs. One quarrel struck the ground, skipping up and breaking, but the other struck Torbin in the leg.
