Drako was driven back as the dagger hit, gritting his teeth as the dagger found a home. Spinning slightly, “who’s messing with the lights?” He said as he felt the poison from the dagger work its way into his veins he unleashed two final blasts of energy.

OOC:
Not sure if the cold damage takes him out or not, the pages are running really slowly for me so I’ll just post the attacks on the cultist, if I’m down obviously I shoot the blast into the ground or something like that.

Udit

"Praise the Beetle!" bellowed Udit enthusiastically as the cultist slumped down on the stairs and the mercenary lowered his crossbow, sat down on the murder-mosaic, and began to snore.

GM:
Gone: (PCs) Udit; (BGs) Cultist1, Merc3
Damage Taken: (PCs) None; (BGs) Cultist1, Merc3 (None, but Asleep)

Kurzon & Torbin

Kurzon slammed at the last of the undead, holding it back with his shield. Finally, Torbin struck it in the head with an arrow, and it shattered into frozen chunks, shards of ice and meat clattered over Kurzon's armour and battered his newly-healed face.

Drako

Drako's head spun, but he kept his footing. Barely sure where he was exactly, he fired his eldritch force into the sleeping body of the cultist, killing the man instantly. He shot the dead body once more for good measure, and then staggered forward.

The last of the mercenaries realised that he was alone, and ran through the open doors that lead into the temple's first room, presumably to report and to save his skin.

For the moment, the River Gang were victorious and had no active enemies in sight.

GM: He's up, but at 2 HP! This fight is over. You can take a very brief moment to reorganise.
Gone: (PCs) Drako; (BGs) Merc4
Damage Taken: (PCs) None; (BGs) Cultist1 5 & 14 (Dead)

Torbin slung his bow and caught Drano by shoulder and elbow. "You don't look so good friend... Sesto, could you come here please? He looks ill."

Squirrels are evil!

Udit grin broadly at the success of his spell. He would have to offer sacrifices to the Beetle soon. The deity was very weak after all.

His grin turned to a frown when he saw Draco blast the cultist - now that was uncalled for. They had won no? Then he saw Draco's pallor, stumbling step and unfocused eyes. That must have been out of sheer reflex.

"Uh... I think that Draco is, uh, sick"

Seeing Torbin was leading Draco to Sesto, Udit cleaned and sheathed his weapons, grabbed his bow and turned to the others.

"Time to get a new prisoner - he probably knows what's ahead. And who's to blame for those ice zombies!"

Udit sneaked ahead, unsheathing his large carving knife again, keeping his eyes and ears open for nearby foes or traps.

Stealth on the way to grab the sleeping merc: 1D20+9 = [20]+9 = 29

Although there were few hiding spots in the room, Udit was utterly silent.

Perception for traps or foes on the way to the sleeping merc: 1D20+7 = [1]+7 = 8

OOC: well those two rolls were contrasting... anyway, *if* nothing happens on the way there:

Udit reached the sleeping mercenary, gently moved the crossbow away, and then position himself just so, behind the mercenary, with one blade on his throad and a strong hand grabbing the shoulder. He said in a low, harsh voice in the merc's ear

"You're coming with me pal, and if you fight or make a noise, uh, you're dead".

Sesto walks over to meet Torbin and Drako. Drako is in a very bad shape -- looking cross-eyed and light headed, and badly injured too. Hmm, that dagger must have been poisoned, Sesto thinks. Sesto closes his eyes and concentrates on the wound while he speaks softly. After a moment, Sesto is confident he managed to neutralise the poison and as he looks into Drako's eyes, he can see the focus return to Drako.
Now it's time to look over the wounds. Sesto touches the dagger wound and it closes over, then he removes all the cold bites from Drako's face, hands and feet. Those were nasty cold burns. Drako looks quite chirpy now.
Next, Sesto turns his attention to Udit and repeats the procedure, gently removing most of the cold burns.

OOC: Sesto cast Lesser Restoration and then Cure Wounds (3rd level) on Drako.
Drako: Cure Wounds (3rd level, with Disciple of Life): 3D8+4+5 = [5, 3, 3]+4+5 = 20
Udit: Cure Wounds (1st level, with Disciple of Life): 1D8+4+3 = [2]+4+3 = 9
Sorry, the dice are not on my side today. Do you need more healing?
