D&D 5E Ironfang Invasion (IC)

Corsa is shocked by the brutal blow to Loosh, but there's nothing she can do before he falls. She grits her teeth and dashes toward the creature once more, opening two fresh wounds in its side.

"Guh," croaks Loosh, lying on the floor with a large axe-wound, his boarding pike dropping out of his limp hands, "Guh..uzzz...rrreeeeeh...."

Lal's nostrils flared as he heard the clashes of battle. Even though he hadn't seen it, he *knew* that Loosh had been struck down. He had to reach the battle, and fast! He felt the Bull of Battle's blessing like fire in his veins and, not waiting for Harb, he shoved the dying troglodyte out of the way and rushed forward.

OOC: Move and take bonus action move to D11, strike the minotaur, who is a mokery of the true Bull of Battle!

Lal brought his tabar crashing down on the minotaur's head, trying to cleave its skull open

When Loosh falls, Flint finds himself face-to-face with an angry humanoid bull.

"Oh, minotaur!" the dwarf says with sudden realisation. Flint drops the perfume vial and grabs his axe with both hands, pointing it at the minotauric menace and conjuring a bolt of fire, which sadly flies just over the creature's head. The sorcerer steps over his injured ally and swings his battleaxe, trying to hurt his opponent while simultaneously protecting Loosh by placing himself in front of him.

Harb Half-Elf Paladin

Hearing the commotion to his right Harb understands that things are not going well. He rounds the corner, glancing into the cavern but trusting that Lal, who he knows is behind him will take care of what ever is there long enough for him to balance the tide of battle at the other entrance.

Rounding the corner he sees the back of the raging Minotaur towering over Flint and Loosh laying helplessly on the ground. I need to distract the beast so they can help Loosh. he thinks to himself.

The symbol of Sarenrae on Harbs shield glows as Harb points his sword at the beast before taking a defensive stance. "I'm the one you want. There is glory in killing me though I doubt you can!"

OOC: *If* the Minotaur leaves my threatened area to fight Harb, I *think* this triggers an AoO on Lal's part:

As the Minotaur spun around and went towards Harp, Lal muttered "oh no you don't!"

Las raised the tabar and brought it crashing down on the back of the beast's skull again

"May nature's blessings heal your wounds", Giana whispers and Loosh is revived.
Giana then transforms into a great bear.
If the minotaur doesn't go for Harb, she moves through the northern passage looking to cut off any escape route.

Vin sees the arc of blood from Loosh go past his face and the elf suddenly went cold inside. From deep within a sound started and a strident elvish war ballad stirred on his lips. With renewed confidence he lashed out with his blade again.

Flint throws a bolt of fire at the Minotaur as he closes ground but the fire flies over the beasts shoulder but his act finds the mark sending blood flying over all in the area.

Harb calls out and the Minotaur turns as Harb issues his challenge.

Lal sprints to cover the ground and get into the fight slashing at the Minotaur with his tabar drawing blood.

Corsa once again dashes in and out of action dealing damage to the Minotaur.

As the Minotaur turned Vin quickly hit the Minotaur with his blade.

Giana cast a quick spell before transforming into a bear and blocking the northern passage.

Loosh holds his hands over his wound on the ground gasping for breath until the healing words of Giana reach his ears, and he begins to struggle towards his feet.

As the Minotaur turns and starts to charge towards Harb, Lal strikes quickly at the beast and it falls to the ground.

Lowly over the thud of the Minotaur falling to the ground a few light and distance footsteps could be heard to the east.

"I thank you, Giana, and your nature spirits as well." says Loosh, as he picks up his boarding pike and looks to the east.
