D&D 5E Ironfang Invasion (IC)

Loosh cries out in pain and then his eyes widen as a large bull-man looms out of the darkness, "They have a minotaur!" he shouts in awe and disbelief.

Suddenly a duplicate of his boarding pike appears behind the minotaur and thrusts at the creature. Loosh himself also chokes up on the haft of his pike and tries to use it to push the Troglodyte off of himself.

Corsa stands in shock for a half-second as the minotaur emerges, but snaps out of it when Loosh fells the troglodyte in front of him. She takes advantage of the opening to slip in and deliver two precise strikes before stealing away.

Harb Half-Elf Paladin

Feeling like the time for waiting has passed and hoping for a chance to pull off a flanking maneuver Harb rounds the corner only to find himself face to face with one of the foul smelling creatures. Sinking his long sword deep into the creatures side before using his shield to push him enough to pull his blade out. The creature is shocked by the wound but doesn't fall.

OOC: Attack Troglodyte: 1D20+4 = [12]+4 = 16 Damage Troglodyte: 1D8+2 = [8]+2 = 10

Vin's eyes widened as he saw the big bull headed creature, "Oh dear," he whispers. His short sword lashes out, electricity writhing down the blade as he attacked the large monster.

The elf almost snarled in frustration as his blade went wide, whilst he didn't believe in fate; it almost felt like the world was against him.

Lal's eyes widened. A minotaur?! They had those here too? The dream about the Bull of Battle... was it the God, or a prophecy of this event? Time to find out.

Lal inhaled deeply, and called upon the God's favor. Immediately, he was filled with the urge to move, to *charge* into battle.

OOC: bonus action, Rage

he did a 360 - the action in front of him was too tight, he couldn't get in there... but Harb was flanking. Yes! Lal stomped forward, easily swinging around Harb and bringing his tabar to bear on the injured troglodyte.

OOC: Move to M10, attack

Unfortunately, the blade struck the cavern wall, showering the troglodyte with sparks but doing no harm.

Flint heard Loosh's outcry, but had misheard it because the dwarf is digging in his backpack, looking for something.

"So what if they be havin' a mini tower," he mumbles to himself. "Nobody'd be using it with this stink, anyways."

With a victorious aha! Flint produces a delicately shaped crystal vial, quickly uncorks it, and takes a step forward to move behind Loosh, reaching over his ally to splash the contents of the bottle over the troglodyte and minotaur. A sweet, musky, almost feminine scent fills the cave.

OOC: Move to E8, splash his vial of perfume towards Trog2 and MiniTower. Hopefully it negates the Stench ability of T2. What? Flint happens to like perfume.

OOC: Doh, Corsa was on E8, but she can get bumped to E7, because Flint's action is delightful.

[Charwoman Gene]

Seeing such a mockery of nature as the horned beast-man angered Giana. She unleashes fire against the creature. She then proceeds towards the northern tunnel.

OOC: Readied action: Produce Flame: Produce Flame: 1D20+6 = [1]+6 = 7 1D8 = [1] = 1 Flaming Sphere: E11 Flaming Sphere: 2D6 = [4, 2] = 6 Move to K8.

Flint dives into the middle of the group splashing perfume towards the stank beasts, covering some of the smell.

Harb strikes out at the troglodyte in front of him watching its blood splatter as it fell to the ground.

Corsa strikes out with her short swords drawing blood from the minotaur who grunts in pain.

Vin slashed out at the giant beast, his sword missed the mark but the cave echoed with the booms from its blades.

Loosh unleashes a magical weapon that strikes out at the minotaur but comes up just short, while his pike finds it home sending the troglodyte in front of him to its knees.

Giana unleashes a ball of flame on the minotaur before moving towards the northern side of the cave.

Not seeming to care that its allies had fallen, its nostrils flaring as the perfume splashed on it, it brought back it’s great axe and took a mighty swing dropping the cleric with one swing.

GM: So Loosh is down so we will need a death saving through. Both troglodytes are down and the minotaur is wounded.
