I might have missed it but

How bout

"Bag O' Snails"

Character specific bags, spell book on em, or a ax, sword, bow, etc.

Race bags

"Iuz is my towel boy"

"My other dice bag is a ..."

A good one maybe not for GenCon but in general for the Big Cons, is see about putting the different Living Greyhawk region coat-of-arms on a bag. (not sure you can)

I think something like this with a D20 setting on a 1 instead of a computer would be kinda cool.

Sorry if I killed the thread.
Hahahahaha:D I don't think you killed it, just dealt it a critical hit! :p Actually, it's a good idea (says wife after husband explains it to her in great detail so she can understand it!). Now we just have to find a d20 image on a one and perhaps instead of this guy with a hammer, we come up with a dwarven fighter with a warhammer attacking it? (Not that we are that cool....that is just our idea:confused: )Paladinwife

So Paladin/Paladinwife, I haven't heard anything else about the teaser you dropped earlier concerning the dicebag with smaller internal pockets which you said would be debuting at Gencon. Are these smaller pockets made to hold individual 7 dice sets? Or miniatures? Something like that?

If so, is there any possible way I could order one of these now from your website? My wife has actually sent in an order for a customized dicebag for my birthday("DMing alignment: Afwul Evil"), and I would love to see if these inner pockets could be done now as I doubt that I will be able to make it to Gencon due to my wife's delivery date very close to that time.

Also another idea I had that I thought was pretty cool even though it's not exactly a dicebag. If you could make a bandolier to go over one shoulder which has multiple pockets for different sets of dice it would look unique and be functional! It would entail some different manufacturing than a regualr dicebag I assume, but it could look very neat I think. (I envision it like some of the D&D art with wizards and their spell component pouches. I think there was a pick that The Sage used to use in Dragon magazine showing a wizard with spikey hair and big glasses that had a bandolier like what I'm thinking of.)

Anyway, any response would be appreciated. And with some luck maybe I'll actually get to see you at your Gencon booth!

P.S.- I love all of the other ideas people have come up with too! Also Paladin, I LOVE your sig quote! :D

We've made one now actually and we've got some pictures. I guess we could give everyone a sneak peek. It's going to be called the "Bag of (Dice) Holding". :D The one we made is decidely un-gamer-like being pink and peach colored, but we made it to donate it for a Breast Cancer Awareness fund raiser my sister-in-law is working with. It also has the pink ribbon embroidered on it.
The pockets will actually hold about 4 sets of 7 dice, the bag itself (if you fill the middle area too) will hold right at 300 dice!
We are modifying the gamer version of this bag slightly to allow for a pencil loop inside and so that it can be laid flat, if desired. You will also be able to have two different fabrics (no leather though!), one for the outside, one for the inside.
Another cool feature is that assuming you remove the dice from the center portion, you can invert the bag and the pockets will all be on the outside, without the dice falling out! I'll post the pictures here soon.

Also, on your bag you just ordered - that is NOT the same wording that your wife gave us - if that is the correct quote posted here, PLEASE let us know ASAP.

Great minds think alike. :D We're engineering such a "bag" already. We're hoping to also debut it at GenCon.
We're also working on a CCG bandolier - anyone think that would be remotely popular?

We do too, the Signature Bags are genius. Thanks, evil should definitely be smacked around at every given opportunity. :D

Bag of (Dice) Holding

Here you go. We really stuffed the bag with dice to show it's capacity. Here it is open:

Sounds great!!! Here's a couple of thoughts:

Kid-size. My son would love a CCG "bandolier" for all of his Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. I think a bandolier that fits me (6'4") would probably be much too large for him (4'). Or at least make it adjustable, somehow. (But it may be easier just to make two different sizes.)

Also!!!! Make sure cards in protectors will fit in them! Might need to make two different sizes--one for "raw" cards and one for cards in protectors.

You make a kid-size CCG "bandolier" for cards in protective sleeves, and I'm buying one. Maybe we should do an order now and I can pick it up at GenCon?

And while I would probably not wear a dice bandolier, I would probably buy one or two for gifts. :D
