I've been the main DM for my group since we started playing. I would say about 90% of games have ended up with me as a DM with occasional small breaks. More recently though a couple of players have been stepping up to the plate more often to try their hand at DMing which is a nice change of pace. I've found though that I prefer being a DM to being a player. If I don't get to DM a game for a few weeks it actually starts to make me feel... antsy?

I'm about 50/50, but on a longer scale. For example I run 4+ year campaigns, and then take off a year and a half from DMing. At this exact moment I'm playing in a 5e campaign and a Pulp Call of Cthulhu 7e, running one 5e campaign and a Masks: A New Generation (PbtA teen superhero) game.

We usually have 2 to 4 campaigns running in parallel, out of which I usually DM 1 or 2 (but never 2 when there are only 2).
