Edit: Although I am currently searching for a German word to translate "enshitification". I 100% understand what this means but it seems we lack a German word so far for it.....
I am not sure that even is an English word to begin with, so you can just do the same and make it up Ver…ung

"Pre-order only, this adventure won't be on D&D Beyond afterwards" - Burn this with so much fire.

People laughed when I said they would slowly move players to digital only. This is just a step.

Give it a bit longer and it’s digital books at half the cost. Free digital only books. Etc etc .

One day, no more physical products and/or D&D as a monthly service. Just $19.99 a month for all the D&D you want!

Yes it is probably easier to use the alternative "platform decay" for translation. That would be "Platformverfall". Although enshitification sounds way better and is more honest as well..... :p

Edit: Although how about "Verscheißbesserung"

Oh and when that is done the next obvious step is to follow the Amazon Prime example. And make that $19.99 a month for all the D&D you want worse so that you pay $ 2,99 more per month to turn off the suddenly appearing obnoxious advertisements.....

Prequel bonus adventure Vecna: Nest of the Eldritch Eye is a D&D Beyond exclusive available April 16th for those who pre-order Eve of Ruin.
  • Introduction to cult of Vecna
  • One session, 2-3 hours, level 3-4
  • Set in Neverwinter
  • Catacombs beneath the city
  • Hired by Lord Neverember as 'city security' and encounter a dead body--clue being a single dessicated eyeball
Ooh! This sound like something right up my alley.

  • Pre-order only, this adventure won't be on D&D Beyond afterwards
Oh, never mind... WotC is being stupid and I'm not going to reward that with a purchase.

There were digital only magazines for years, which are more available than old print ones which also has stuff that wasn't available any other way.... His is this different?
