Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

The likely answer is they either forgot to include a quote to something from significantly earlier in the thread or...
I logged out to see who they might be responding to since I didn't see a quote and nobody was quoted. I am also confused as to who was being referred to since nobody in the recent thread was arguing in bad faith.

He only goes after one of the two sabers. The second blade(not hilt) hits his helmet and shorts out, making it clear that it has something to do with the metal. Sure you don't see what he did to the first blade when he blocked with his bracelet, but you do get a clear look at how the second blade goes out.
You might have. I certainly didn't.

And as far the Jedi being confused, other than a quick double take, what confusion? And Qmir obviously expects Sol to understand what he means when he tells Sol he won't take the helmet off and let Sol read his mind. I didn't see any confusion.

Uh what?

Why would Sol be confused about that? This isn't some deep lore reference. It's an assertion of property of the helmet, that being that it prevents Jedi from being able to sense what people are thinking (which, frankly, seems fairly limited anyway).

The Jedi absolutely seemed confused by their lightsabers going out, certainly before it happened for about the fourth or fifth time. But they're trained fighters, so confusion isn't just standing around goggling like it might be with some people, it's more momentary.

That may be a reference to something Sol can do, rather than all jedi.

Mind control is more something the witches could do. Although maybe Sol isn't Sol?

Yeah. They stand there confused, trying to turn their sabers on repeatedly. Had they understood what it was, they would have just left the sabers on until they reignited.
