Credit to Groucho Marx. “Gentlemen, Chicolini may look like an idiot, and sound like an idiot, but don’t let that fool you. He really is an idiot.”That noise you hear is me yoinking this.
The player to GM ratio is heavily skewed towards GMs. Unless they live in a very small and isolated town and refuse to get online -or if they run a very very oscure game- a given GM is bound to never run out of prospective players. It can be unattractive to them even as a GM if they think it will make it hard for them to find new players when they resist said "scary idea".
I'm 40 and i have a paid person who comes over during the week to help me around the apartment, one of my previous health plans included a life alert button, my current plan doesn't have one that i'm aware of.So... yay? It's obvious we have to take steps. If his friend hadn't come by, he wouldn't have made it. I think his stubborn resistance to change will finally need to bow before my stubbornness. He's getting a 911 button and a paid visitor.
My Dad made 80 last Sunday; Mom will hit 80 in a couple weeks. They’re both pretty healthy overall, but Mom has injuries that have hampered her stamina, mobility and stability. I live with them- it cuts costs & concerns for all involved.So... yay? It's obvious we have to take steps. If his friend hadn't come by, he wouldn't have made it. I think his stubborn resistance to change will finally need to bow before my stubbornness. He's getting a 911 button and a paid visitor.
Same.I took care of my Mom until she passed.
