Fate of the Norns: Ragnarok - Denizens of the North!

Blood and darkness soak the cosmic tree... From the fractured Viking kingdoms of Norveig to the siege of Asgard, Ragnarok is here! The Fate of the Norns: Ragnarok game gets its first full sized Viking lore book. When we say full sized, we mean it! It's over 200 pages (before we add the...

Heya everyone, Andrew here from Pendelhaven. Hope everyone that backed the EN World kickstarter and that downloaded Fafnir's Treasure are having some great adventures! I gladly answered a few PM questions about the saga and brand new Core Rulebook, but I invite anyone else who has...

What's the state of the RPG industry and where is it going?

I love having some 1-shot games when I'm short on time and I have some great games that fit that need on my bookshelf. As you mentioned Fiasco is great for that. But my thoughts on the subject are that most indie games (of late) position themselves for that spot because its an easy entry (small...

    Let's Talk Initiative, Shall We?

You're too kind. :) Yup I was never a fan of spending time every round rolling dice and noting down the values and then having to sort them, especially if we're talking about a dozen combatants. We needed a solution that gives everyone an individual initiative and is dynamic from round to round...

How do I thin my collection? How do YOU thin your collection?

I figure that most of the stuff that I bought I may want to play at some later date. Before I wizened up and started going digital for my purchases, I'd give the books away to my friends. This way they stay within my gaming circle, but don't consume a whole room!

    Are Table Top RPGs Dying?

Agreed, and I just found out about G+ Hangouts! Very cool with all the new apps that have come out for this... wonder if I can hack runes into the app! ;)

Wil Wheaton & Chris Pramas in "Tabletop"!

NICE! I should send them a comp copy of FOTN:R! ;) Probably filmed over a much longer period and edited down to the "highlights" since there are no "where's the Mountain Dew?" heard in the background...

Hey, so you know this "space marine" thing?

As a gamer I totally understand GW's claim, I do associate the term with WH40k... however anyone not in the gaming space, and into sci-fi movies and books, looking at it from their perspective, it would seem preposterous to TM such a phrase. From the population demographics, I'd say the 99%...

    Are Table Top RPGs Dying?

I think the gaming market has hit a renaissance since the launch of Kickstarter. There are so many great ideas that have been floating around for dacades, but due to lack of funds, never got to see the light of day. When I attend conventions, I often see monolithic blocks of game tables...

New RPG that uses a deck of cards

Check out the Deliria RPG which had mechanics that used cards. Had some definite potential, but I feel they fell short of hitting something really special... unfortunately that book turned out to be more manifesto than RPG LOL!
